This is a 12 year old single cask Edradour, selected by the songwriter Dougie Maclean and named after one of his best-known songs, Caledonia. The whisky was aged first in a bourbon cask and then re-racked into sherry. The result is described as a rich, nutty malt with notes of warming spice.
