This is a 12 year old Edradour from a small batch, a Highland single malt matured in Sauternes dessert wine casks. It was distilled in April 2012 and bottled in June 2024. It is unpeated and bottled at 48.2% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour. A full 12 years in Sauternes casks is an unusual choice, and it gives a rich whisky. The tasting notes point to tropical fruit and dried apricots.
