This is an 18 year old small batch single malt from Edradour, distilled in 2007.
It was matured in first fill Amarone hogsheads from the Valpolicella wine region of Italy. The casks gave the whisky layers of dark berries and ripe black cherries, along with warming spice and a velvety richness.
