This Edradour was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2023 at 21 years old and a cask strength of 52.1%. It matured first in bourbon casks, then in three former Oloroso sherry casks. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered, and comes from a run of 1919 bottles.
The nose is full of sherry and dried fruit. On the palate it is full-bodied and slightly oily, with a touch of Christmas cake and a pleasing sweetness. The finish is long, with sweetness and chocolate.
