Edradour – 21 Year Old 2003 Cask Strength Bourbon Barrels

This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Edradour, distilled in 2003 and bottled in September 2024. It matured in bourbon barrels, numbers 67 to 73, and is bottled at cask strength. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour, so the copper tone is natural. This is a limited edition of 1126 bottles. The nose combines roasted grain and light malt wrapped in soft vanilla, with touches of cream toffee and caramel. On the palate the body is full, with buttery toffee and vanilla over a gentle maltiness and a little nutmeg spice. The finish is long and sweet, fading slowly into caramel and malt.
