Ballechin is the heavily peated single malt made at Edradour in the Highlands. This bottling was distilled in 2004, in only the second year of Ballechin production, and bottled in 2023 at 19 years old. It is in a 70cl bottle at 53.5%.
The whisky matured for its full term in a pair of Madeira puncheons, which yielded 1323 bottles at natural cask strength. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
