Edradour – Ballechin 2009 13 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 001 (70cl, 54.9%)

Ballechin is the peated whisky made at Edradour, and this is a 13 year old from the 2009 vintage, bottled in April 2023 at a natural cask strength of 54.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is labelled Batch 001. The whisky was assembled from a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. Ballechin is usually peated to around 50ppm. Signatory Vintage, owned by Andrew Symington, bought Edradour from Pernod Ricard in 2002 and began producing Ballechin the following year.
