Eikun Water Lords Junmai Ginjo Sake (30cl)

Water Lords is a Junmai Ginjo sake from Eikun in Japan, in a 30cl bottle. It is made from Gohyakumankoku rice, which gives a classic style of sake: clean, light and refreshing. The brewery uses water from the Fusui spring, rated among Japan's top 100 water sources and found just south of Kyoto. The nose brings macadamia oatmeal cookie, spicy courgette bread and vanilla cream. The body is satiny, fruity yet dry, medium to full, and the layered finish carries banana custard, jicama, salted nuts, apple and radish.
