Elements of Islay Oc6 is an Islay single malt from the Elements of Islay series by Elixir Distillers, bottled at 58.1% in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky is Octomore, made by Bruichladdich, distilled in 2011 and aged for eight years in ex-Bourbon barrels. It is natural colour and comes from a small batch.
The nose brings sea salt, iodine, lemon, maraschino cherries, caramel and ginger. On the palate come rich peat smoke, cracked black pepper, grapefruit, marmalade and rye bread.
