Elements of Islay Torba Velier's 70th Anniversary (50cl, 56.1%)

This is Elements of Islay Torba, a blended malt bottled for Velier in Italy to mark the company's 70th anniversary in 2017. It comes in a 50cl bottle at cask strength, 56.1% ABV. Torba was limited to 1,200 bottles. It brings together one of the world's most heavily peated whiskies, an Islay malt from the island's largest distillery and a well-aged malt from the north coast of Islay. Its character is described as lemongrass and smoked kipper, alongside delicate fruity notes.
