Elijah Craig 18 Year Kenwood Pick Single Barrel #3094 (75cl)

This is an 18 year old single barrel Elijah Craig bourbon, barrel #3094, selected by Kenwood. It was distilled at the Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, on 29 January 1992. The spirit was filled into new charred American oak and matured for 18 years. The mash bill is high in rye. The nose is described as caramel, leather, dried fruit and deep oak with integrated rye spice. On the palate come caramel, vanilla, oak tannin, leather and dried fruit, followed by a long, warm finish that keeps evolving.
