This is an 18-year-old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, made at the Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown. Each bottle comes from an individually selected barrel, matured in new American white oak. The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley. It is bottled at 45% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose has vanilla, dark cocoa and firm oak spice, with fresh mint and light roasted notes. The palate offers honey, walnuts and spicy oak. The finish is long and soft, with milk chocolate, vanilla and a little allspice.
