Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch C915 is a 12 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, in a 750ml bottle at 67.8% ABV (135.6 proof). It is the September 2015 release in the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof series. The bourbon comes from 12 year old Heaven Hill barrels and is bottled uncut and unfiltered, so the barrel strength is left undiluted. The nose is caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, dark chocolate and spice. The palate is rich and concentrated, with toffee, charred barrel, rye spice and dark fruit, and the finish is long and warming with lingering barrel spice.
