Elijah Craig Small Batch is a Kentucky bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 47% ABV.
It is named after Elijah Craig, a Baptist minister in nineteenth-century Kentucky who is known as the Father of Bourbon. Many believe he was the first to age spirit in charred oak barrels, though nobody knows for certain.
Heaven Hill makes it with local ingredients and limestone-rich Kentucky spring water. After several years in charred oak, its Master Distillers select the most complex barrels for the Small Batch.
