Elijah Craig Small Batch (70cl, 47%)

Elijah Craig Small Batch is a straight bourbon from Heaven Hill in Kentucky, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. The master distillers choose individual barrels and marry bourbons that have matured for between eight and twelve years. The whiskey ages in new oak barrels charred to level 3, which gives it a warm, spicy character with light smoke. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. On the nose, vanilla and sweet fruit meet fresh mint. The palate is soft and warm, with woody notes, spice, nutmeg and a touch of smoke. The long finish stays sweet and fades with light toasted notes.
