Elijah Craig Straight Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey bottled at 47%. It was the brand's first extra-aged rye, part of a rye range introduced in 2020 alongside its bourbons. The mash bill is 51% rye, the minimum for the style, which sets it apart from the corn-led Small Batch Bourbon from the same name. The nose is dark chocolate with spices and a hint of smoke. On the palate come rich baking spices and honey, supported by smooth oak. The finish is long and lingering.
