Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 47%)

Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown. It starts as Elijah Craig Small Batch, matured in new charred American white oak, then receives a further finish in specially toasted virgin oak casks. It is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose has jasmine, black tea, leather and cedar with a little cinnamon. The palate brings brown sugar, peach preserve and caramelised oak. The finish is long, with cinnamon, toasted wood and sweet oak.
