This is the Spring 2022 edition of the Equinox & Solstice series, a 13 year old Pulteney in a 70cl bottle. It is a small batch of 830 bottles, vatted from two first-fill barrels and one refill barrel. All of the whisky was distilled in 2008, and it is bottled at the series' usual 48.5% ABV.
The label art was created by Melissa Nash and explores ecology and our closeness to nature.
The whisky is gently coastal, with chalk, hessian and white flowers, and a peppery, lightly waxy backbone.
