EtOH Spirits – Endeavour (70cl, 46%)

Endeavour is a Danish malt spirit from EtOH Spirits, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first spirit from the distillery, named after the ship in which James Cook made his first voyage of discovery. It was matured in just 12 days, using ultrasound and food technology to speed up ageing, in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and French brandy casks. It is officially not sold as whisky. The notes describe generous vanilla, candied ginger and spicy oak, followed by caramel, butterscotch, dried figs, red berries and spices. The finish is long and warming.
