Etsu Double Yuzu Gin (43%)

A Japanese gin produced in Akita Prefecture at the Akita Distillery using mountain spring water from the Ōu Mountains. It is macerated for seven days with botanicals including Japanese yuzu, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica, coriander and matcha tea, then distilled and diluted with pure spring water. It is a limited edition release bottled at 43% ABV. The nose is bright, with fresh yuzu and lemon, floral juniper and faint matcha herbaceousness. The palate has zesty yuzu and lemon, light sweetness and mild peppery warmth. The finish is soft and citrus-softened, with lingering herbal bitterness and light tea notes.
