Evan Williams Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon taken from one selected barrel rather than a vatting of several. The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley.
The whisky was distilled in 2016, matured for eight years in a new American white oak barrel and bottled in 2025 at 43.3% ABV. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Heaven Hill makes the bourbon at the Bernheim Distillery.
Tasting notes describe creamy fudge, spicy oak, peach and apple on the nose. The palate brings soft vanilla, toasted hazelnut, apricot and grapefruit, and the long finish carries strong espresso with a trace of fudge and tonka bean.
