Filey Bay IPA Finish is a single malt from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery, which grows, brews and distils. It was finished in ex-IPA casks, and comes from a distillery that works alongside its sister company, World Top Brewery. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is described as light and fruity. The nose brings cooked apple, malty biscuits, tropical fruit and coastal notes. On the palate there are pear drops, warm spice, foam banana sweets, roasted almonds, lemon cake, grapefruit and macadamia, ending on lemon thyme, fresh cream and warm cereals.
