Filey Bay STR Finish #4 is a single malt from Spirit of Yorkshire, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in STR casks, which are ex-red wine casks that have been shaved, toasted and recharred.
The bourbon maturation adds creamy notes to the light, fruity style of the Filey Bay spirit, while the STR finish draws red fruit flavours out of the wood.
