Filey Bay STR Finish is a Yorkshire single malt from Spirit of Yorkshire, bottled at 46%. Its primary maturation in ex-bourbon casks softened the whisky and let the distillery's signature flavour profile develop.
A secondary maturation followed in shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-red wine casks, which gave the whisky a deep colour and red fruit flavours.
It is described as light, floral and fruity, with red fruits, vanilla ice cream and toasted oak.
