Fleurieu Distillery – Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a single malt from Fleurieu Distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a continuing release, shaped by the awards and trophies the distillery has won in recent years. The Fleurieu coast faces the Southern Ocean, and the whisky develops maple and vanilla oak notes alongside spicy sea-air aromas, giving a smooth-bodied character. The nose is a lifted malt. The palate is lively, with allspice and nutmeg and a tawny oak character that adds weight and length. The finish lingers with barley and raisin sweetness.
