Fontagard STRN 9918-8 is a French single malt whisky from the Fontagard distillery. It is aged in casks that previously held old Cognac and Sauternes, and the barley was chosen for its quality. It was created by Adrien, who wanted to show the work of the winemakers of the region. The distillery was founded in 1878 and aims to become one of the first green distilleries in France. The whisky is described as having honey and yellow fruit, with woody and smoky notes.
