The 2024 Limited Edition of Four Roses Small Batch, a barrel-strength Kentucky straight bourbon from Lawrenceburg, bottled at 54.1% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
The blend draws on four of the distillery's ten recipes: 39% OESF at 16 years, 31% OBSV at 12 years, 23% OESK at 15 years and 7% OBSV at 20 years. All of it matured in single-storey rack warehouses.
Vanilla, caramel apple, brown sugar and milk chocolate shape the nose. Cinnamon and cocoa on the palate give way to cherry, raspberry and pear, with citrus and herbal notes. The finish is long, with roasted coffee bean, cocoa and warm oak.
