Four Roses – Small Batch Limited Edition 2025 (75cl, 54.5%)

This is the 2025 Small Batch Limited Edition from Four Roses, a Kentucky bourbon bottled at barrel strength, 54.5%, without chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle. It blends three 13-year-old bourbons with a 19-year-old component, drawn from four of the distillery's recipes. Production was 16,854 bottles. The nose brings sweet berries and ripe stone fruit, vanilla buttercream, cinnamon, clove and a trace of anise over toasted oak. On the palate are dark cherry, dehydrated blueberry, strawberry and apricot jam, then golden syrup and orange peel, with a spicy rye backbone. The finish is long, with rye spice, green peppercorn, dry oak, leather and a hint of tobacco.
