This is a non-vintage Crémant d'Alsace from the Baur family of Turckheim, who have farmed there since 1741. Every hectare has been worked biodynamically since 2001.
The blend is led by Pinot Blanc, with Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris added in some vintages, and the wine spends 12 months on its lees.
It is dry and persistent, with an inviting texture. Flowers and fruit show on the nose, and the palate is rounded, fresh and well balanced.
