Freedom Fighter 6 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 48% ABV. It comes in a 70cl ceramic decanter shaped like a fist.
The bourbon spent six years maturing in new charred American oak.
Vanilla custard and caramel corn lead the nose, with toasted oak, honey wheat and light baking spices. The palate is smooth and sweet, built on caramel, vanilla and sweet corn, with baking spice and brown sugar developing as the oak builds. The finish is medium to long, with lingering sweetness, gentle toasted oak and a peppery warmth.
