Fuyu is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40%. The name means winter, and the idea behind it is warming malt pushing the cold back.
It is a young whisky matured in small casks. The blend brings together spirit from distilleries in Kyoto, on the island of Honshu, and is made up of 80% grain whisky and 20% malt whisky.
Fruit, spice, malt and smoke sit in good balance.
