G'Vine Nouaison Gin (45%)

G'Vine Nouaison is a French gin created by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet and made in Charente by Maison Villevert. It is distilled from a grape base rather than the grain spirit most gins use, which gives it a rounder texture. The recipe uses 14 botanicals and spices. Juniper leads, with cardamom and ginger for spice, then sandalwood, bergamot, plum, Java pepper and vetiver. At 45% vol. it is stronger than G'Vine Floraison and was designed to keep its structure in cocktails. The profile is juniper, spice, wood and green, vegetal notes, softened by the natural sweetness of the grape spirit. It suits a Negroni or a Dry Martini.
