Gélas L'Original (45.8%)

Gélas L'Original is a French single malt whisky bottled at 45.8% ABV. It is made by Maison Gélas, an armagnac producer in Gascony since 1865. The whisky was aged in selected casks. The nose is rich, with ripe cereal, dried fruit and vanilla. On the palate come roasted malt, cooked fruit and gentle spice, with woody notes from the casks. The finish is long and warm, with spice and oak.
