A 15 year old straight bourbon from George Remus, made at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It is bottled at a cask strength of 48.9% in a 70cl bottle. The Gatsby Reserve marks the 100th anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby. Legend has it that the title character was inspired by George Remus, the man the brand is named after. The nose is dry, with candied fruit, caramelised pecans, charcoal, oak and tobacco. The palate brings candied fruit, cherry, leather and charred wood, with a syrupy sweetness.
