George T. Stagg 2004 15 Year Old Bottled 2019 (75cl, 58.5%)

George T. Stagg is the Kentucky straight bourbon in Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection of annual releases. This is the 2019 edition, made from spirit distilled in spring 2004 and bottled at 15 years and 3 months old, at a cask strength of 58.45% ABV (116.9 US proof), in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in new white oak barrels with a number 4 char and bottled without filtration. The mash bill combines Kentucky corn, Minnesota rye and North Dakota malted barley. Official notes describe a nose of caramel, cherries and a hint of mint, a palate of vanilla and toasted oak with a floral undertone, and a long finish of cherries, coffee and black pepper.
