Gewurztraminer Kleinstein Alto Adige DOC - Cantina Bozen (1.5L)

A magnum of Gewurztraminer from Alto Adige DOC, produced by Cantina Bozen. The wine shows an intense yet measured aromatic profile typical of the variety. On the nose there are floral notes of rose and field flowers, with fruity hints of lychee, ripe peach and citrus zest, plus a light spicy note. On the palate it is enveloping but well balanced, with a soft structure and freshness that supports the aromatics, leaving a pleasant persistence and a sense of equilibrium. It suits dishes with delicate spices, not overly spicy Asian cuisine, savoury cheeses and antipasti with cured meats and vegetables, and can also accompany not-too-sweet fruit desserts. Serve fresh, around 10-12 C, in large glasses, opening a few minutes beforehand.
