A Pinot Nero from Alto Adige, made by Cantina Bozen. It shows a clear ruby red colour, with aromas of small red fruits, cherry and strawberry, plus floral notes and light spice. The palate is fresh and lively, with fine tannins and a balanced structure. It suits white roasted meats, mushroom dishes, lightly cured salumi and semi-hard cheeses, served around 14-16 C in a wide glass. It can be enjoyed young or rested in bottle for a few years.
