Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC Cantina Bozen

A sober, linear white wine from Alto Adige. It is pale straw yellow, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit such as apple and pear, citrus notes of lemon and orange zest, delicate floral hints and a light herbaceous note. The structure is slender, with lively acidity that gives freshness without being intrusive, and a subtle mineral link. On the palate it is dry and pleasant, with balance between flavour and freshness, and a clean rather than intensely persistent finish. It suits seafood starters, salads, light pasta, steamed fish and fresh cheeses; serve fresh around 8-10°C.
