A Barolo from Giacomo Grimaldi, made from Nebbiolo grown in the Barolo denomination. It shows a garnet red colour that takes on orange hues with age.
The wine has a complex nose of ripe red fruits, faded flowers, spice, tobacco and a light leather note. On the palate it is solid and elegant, with robust but velvety tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a persistent finish with mineral and earthy notes.
