Giffard Blue Curaçao is a vibrant, citrus-forward French liqueur made with bitter and sweet orange peels. It is produced by Giffard & Cie in the Loire Valley, France, from distilled sugar-beet neutral spirit flavoured with bitter and sweet orange peels, including laraha varieties, plus sugar. It is non-aged. The colour is deep blue. The nose has velvety orange scents with candied orange, sweet and bitter oranges and floral notes. The palate is sweet orange with a syrupy smooth mouthfeel and bitter-orange zest oils. The finish is medium-length, with lingering citrus sweetness and a touch of bitterness from orange peel.
