This is a single malt from the Glasgow Distillery in the Lowlands, bottled at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in bourbon casks, then moved into Cognac casks from France for a finish. Those casks add vanilla, dried fruit and spice.
The nose offers vanilla, honey, dried fruit, spice and a hint of toffee. On the palate it starts sweet and fruity, with orange, apricot and raisin. The finish is long and warm, with pepper and clove.
