Glen Breton 10 Year Old is a Canadian single malt from the Glenora Distillery on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 43%, chill-filtered and with added colouring.
The whisky is matured in American white oak, in warehouses surrounded by apple trees. Glenora was founded in 1990 and works with copper pot stills from Scotland.
The nose brings orange, spice, chocolate, honey and vanilla, with hints of tobacco, maple and cherry. On the palate it is fruity, with chocolate, hazelnut, maple syrup and cherry. The finish is long and soft, with a fresh touch of apple and ginger.
