Glen Moray Classic Cabernet Cask Finish is a single malt bottled at 40%. It is matured first in American ex-bourbon oak and then finished in French Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks, a result of the distillery's long interest in experimenting with different cask styles.
The finish brings dark chocolate and intense spice notes. The colour is warm gold.
The nose is honey, toffee apple, chocolate and honeycomb crunch. The palate has vanilla, pepper and spice, with dark chocolate and charred oak. An initial burst of sweetness fades into the embers of burnt oak and intense spice.
