This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Spey, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage as part of its Cask Strength Collection. It was matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and bottled at 54.4% ABV. Glen Spey is seldom seen as a single malt outside independent bottlings. Its light, floral and gently fruity spirit meets the richness of the PX cask. The cask is associated with raisins, figs, dark chocolate, treacle and warming spice, while the spirit adds orchard fruit, honeyed malt and a soft floral edge.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
