Glendalough Calvados XO is a blended Irish whiskey from the Single Cask Calvados XO Cask Finish series, bottled at 42% ABV. The outturn from the cask is 456 bottles. The whiskey spent three years in first fill ex-bourbon casks, then one more year in a Calvados XO cask that had previously held calvados for six years. The two casks together are described as bringing vanilla, grain, apple, pear, wood and spice, with a gentle fruit sweetness.
