Glendalough Pot Still Irish Oak Finish is an Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It combines malted and unmalted barley. The whiskey is matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Irish oak from the Wicklow Mountains. It is bottled without chill-filtering and without added colour. The nose opens with caramel and vanilla. On the palate come toffee and soft sweetness with spice, and the Irish oak adds its own note. The finish carries spicy wood, with sweetness and oak still in evidence.
