Glenfiddich – 15 Year Old

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for at least fifteen years in European sherry casks, American bourbon casks and new oak casks. The whisky from these three cask types is then brought together in the Solera Vat, a system that is kept in continuous use. The nose is typically described as honey, ripe apple and orange, with raisins, cinnamon, vanilla and a little toasted oak. On the palate come honey, ripe pear and sweet vanilla, then dried fruit, caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and warm, with honey, oak, dried fruit and soft spice.
