A 26-year-old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich, bottled at 43.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was matured in American and European oak casks, then finished for up to two years in French Cognac casks.
It is the only Glenfiddich single malt to combine American oak, European oak and Cognac cask maturation in one bottling.
The nose recalls a French pâtisserie, with Tarte Tatin, choux pastry and ripe persimmon over apple, cherry and sweet spice. The palate is rich and honeyed, with toasted oak, brown sugar and a café crème note, and the finish is long, with sweet oak and warm baking spices.
