This is a 16 year old Glenfiddich single malt from Speyside, released as the Aston Martin F1 Edition in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle, is non-chill-filtered and has colour added.
The whisky matured in a combination of American oak wine casks, new American oak casks and second-fill bourbon casks.
The nose is rich and sweet, with biscuit base, cheesecake, maple syrup, caramelised ginger and toasted oak. The palate is sweet and silky, with a syrupy texture and notes of fruit salad and whipped cream. The finish is long and harmonious, with a fine sweetness.
