This is Glenfiddich 18 Year Old, a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is produced in small, individually numbered batches.
Spanish Oloroso wood adds a touch of fruity sweetness to the whisky.
The nose is rich, with ripe orchard fruit, spiced apple and a firm oakiness. On the palate come dried fruit, candied peel and dates, with oak lying over them. The finish is warming.
